This policy describes how personal data is processed when you visit mydeskgo.ch or contact MyDeskGo. Applicable data protection law applies, particularly the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2. Website and hosting
The website is provided through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites, with technical delivery via Cloudflare. Visiting the site involves processing connection data such as your IP address, access time, requested page, and browser and device information. These data may be logged for operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
This website has no customer accounts, contact form, payment processing or customer database of our own. Retention periods for infrastructure logs are determined by the hosting providers; we cannot promise a fixed deletion period for those logs.

3. Email and enquiries
When you email us, we process your email address, name, messages and any information or files you send. Orders may also involve the product requested, quantity, desired link and delivery address. We use these data to respond, prepare an offer and fulfil the order.
Our mailbox is provided through Google’s Gmail. Email links open your email application; you decide whether to send the message. Please send only documents needed for your enquiry and do not send passwords.
4. WhatsApp Business
WhatsApp is an optional way to contact us. Our buttons link to wa.me; there is no embedded WhatsApp plugin. Clicking connects you to WhatsApp and may prepare a message. Nothing is sent automatically on your behalf.
If you contact us there, we receive your phone number, visible profile name and the content you send. We use them to handle your enquiry or order. WhatsApp Ireland Limited and relevant Meta companies also process data under their own privacy policies. You can use email instead.
5. Language preferences and local storage
When you select DE, SQ or EN, the website saves that choice in your browser’s local storage under “mydeskgo.language”. The entry contains only the language code and is not sent to a server by our page code. It remains until changed or until the site’s browser data are cleared; the browser may also remove it. Without local storage, you can still open the language versions using their links.
The page code included by MyDeskGo contains no analytics or advertising trackers and no tracking cookies of our own. Technically necessary processing by the hosting platform is separate from this.
6. Instagram and other external links
Instagram is included as a simple link. The external service is accessed when you open it. Its provider’s privacy information then applies; the provider may process connection data and information relating to an existing account.
7. Recipients and processing abroad
For hosting and communication, we use OpenAI, Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp/Meta and their respective service providers. Our domain is managed through GoDaddy. These providers operate internationally. Data may be processed in Ireland and the United States in particular; WhatsApp also identifies the United Kingdom and Singapore for transfers. Storage exclusively in Switzerland is not guaranteed.
The providers explain other processing locations and transfer mechanisms in their privacy information, such as adequacy decisions, applicable data privacy frameworks or standard contractual clauses. The safeguards that apply depend on the service and transfer. You can ask us about the recipients and safeguards relevant to your data.
8. Retention and security
We retain enquiry and order data for as long as needed to handle the matter, fulfil the contract or protect legitimate claims, subject to statutory retention duties. Data no longer needed are then deleted or anonymised. Providers’ own retention rules apply to data they process under their own responsibility.
We take appropriate technical and organisational protective measures. Absolute security of transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed. Please agree on a suitable channel with us before sharing particularly confidential information.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data and, where applicable, its release or transfer. Legal obligations may limit these rights. You may withdraw consent for the future. Appropriate identity verification may be needed to handle a request.
